Am i allowed to use joe bucks affilate program with adsense on same page? Do Joe Bucks allow it? Is anyone else using Joe bucks, how much traffic are u getting and what are you making from it?
Come on people. I know there is people hovering here who can't be bothered to explain my question. Green rep and good business if you do.
I use joebucks and adsense on several of my sites, and joebucks has no problems with it. I have spoken with the affiliate manager over there. I'd be glad to share my stats with you, just pm me and let me know what products you are interested in. By the way if you have not signed up yet, I wouldn't mind if you sign up under me. Here is my link: http://www.joebucks.com/?aid=363392
I use Joe Bucks, but my conversion isn't good as with webmasterlife, so i don't make a lot with it. my suggestion anyway is don't combine affiliates and adsense. if your users click on adsense you'll probably lose them forever for few cents... at this point just focus on presell your affiliate product so you can lose them for several dollars
Here is the direct JoeBucks link. www.joebucks.com I do marketing consulting for them and they are a high converting program. Adsense is not a problem except as TheGrin said it can siphon off your traffic and you could earn a few cents instead of $50 - $100 or more in commission per sale.
if you make a site for joebucks products it doesnt make much sense to place adsense on the same page (for reasons well stated above). if its just a general page then go for it
It is not normal to promote other product on the page where you want to sell your own products. You will steal your own sales man
The wish is that both could co-exist. But traffic is bound to get lost for less and risk earning more because Adsense does not open in a new window. So one has to analyse the type of traffic and take a call
Of course you can put them on the same page. Like others have mentioned, whether you will want to or not is something you'll have to figure out for yourself. Do whatever makes you the most money.
While you dont want to cannibalize your owns sells... you can look at it like this. There are broadly 2 types of visitors buyers and non-buyers for the buyers you want them to be able to buy with no distractions so make sure your links follow that. for your non-buyers you can add a couple of articles to your site and thats where you can put your adsense. These guys are maybe just looking for more info or just tire-kickers. Adsense is a way to monetize them This is what I do ... it seems to work, but there is always the possibility of them buying a different product through adsense. On the other hand if someone has their credit card out, i doubt adsense will distract them.
I tend to agree with this approach. I like to put adsense on my sites even when I'm trying to sell something in particular. Not all people are buyers, and I like to make money from as many people as possible! While I agree this may be cannibalizing some sales... I guess I'd really need to do some split testing to know which way works best as far as money earned per visitor. I hate doing stuff like that though. I'd rather just work on making more pages and getting more traffic. Sometimes I think people spend too much time over analyzing stuff.
I've been starting Joe Bucks but you think webmasterlife is better? Do you think it's because of the page layout? Oprah is on it too.... Joe Bucks has lifetime commission, looks like they do too. Should I switch over?
