Jobs site...

Hi Guys,

I have a decent job/work site domain name, or at least decent from a UK use point of view, which I might build into a functioning job site. My question is I understand in the US you use 'resume' when referring to your job history etc, do you know the term 'CV' at all when referring to job history (as its in my domain name), I mean does everyone in the US know 'CV' even if they don't use it, or does no-one really know it at all?

And to reciprocate the eduction, we use 'CV' almost exclusively, though most people know what resume is too

Yes, in US we know what a CV is, of course but it is simply not used as often as a resume, so you'd better stick to the term "resume" on your job site.

Yes, Here in India we use both Resume & CV

CV = Curriculum Vitae'

In Australia we use Resume more but CV is used as well.

resume and cv is same , only the different is of countries and our language.
