I see godaddy has the .jobs domain names for like $119 a year, thats kinda pricey , but I cant help but think that maybe it would be worth it in the long run, you think .jobs extension is gonna become popular with employers? is it worth the money to register these????

what happened to .kids? Is it not around anymore?

I wouldn't seriously consider registering anything than a .com myself - unless its for humor value (steve.jobs, blow.jobs etc)

I would think only the very best of names like "blow.jobs" would be worth bothering with but you never know, it could take off with things like; plumbers.jobs, shitty.jobs, good.jobs, ...

    Plese read:

.JOBS domains are only available for legal entities with the URL text as a descriptor of the company name. These domains MUST ONLY list human resources oportunities for the company that registered the domain.

Sorry everyone, these aren't really for our market.

REFERENCE: Spents a great deal of time researching these over the last year for a large client. spoke directly with Employ Media, an extension of the Society for Human Resources Management, who is the sponsor of the new tld
