Job site - Go for Joomla or for my script

    Hi,

I am looking forward to develop a Job Portal. But as I don't have any personal development experience. I would like your advice on following:

    1. Should I develop script of my own to maintain my job portal?
    2. Should I use CMS tools like Joomla or Wordpress?
    3. What might be the benefits of using CMS for the portal? (besides management)
    4. Using my own script is secure or using CMS is more secure and SEO friendly?

I look forward for your replies.

    Thanks

The benefits of using a CMS are legion, but the first and foremost is that you do not have
to do the work or hire out the work for the creation and use of a dynamic web site. In other words,
you do not have to create the "wheel" over and over again.

So many things can be taken care of by plugins or software that you would have to do yourself
if you do not use a CMS. A CMS gives your time back to you if you want a dynamic site.

    Thanks for your input friends.

I have finally made my decision to go with Joomla...

Anyway, how can I see or know that if any site is designed in Joomla? I mean, I want to see few samples of Joomla job sites, is it possible?

    Good luck,

Thanks again guys. My meeting with my friend was a big success and now we are going to develop a site in Joomla using our own CMS coding.

Wish us luck and thanks again.
