Job opportunities in SEO

Hi,

How to find the Job Opportunities in SEO? Is it easy to find? Please give the details about that? I am 6 months experience in Off page optimization for all related work.

SEO jobs are not difficult to find, there are plenty of job boards where SEO jobs are posted, the Monster network being the world's largest. One of the drawbacks of Monster is that many jobs are listed with an English title, while the rest of the job advertisement and the job are not in English. And an even bigger drawback for you is your limited practical experience. With only 6 months of relevant experience in a only one aspect of search-engine optimisation (link-building, I presume?) there's an extremely little chance you'll find a suitable position, since most of the jobs that are advertised require a minimum of two years of relevant experience in all aspects of SEO, not just off-page search-engine optimisation. I suggest you to get some experience in other aspects of SEO too and once you've got that apply for a job in SEO. Good luck!

Only off page speciality would not give you much scope. Try to get rich with on page tactics also.

I agree with rena, and by this you will gain more experience, because 6 months of experience is very low in my opinion, you need to work more on your experience. Slowly when you make your website optimize them make money and you will get a portfolio made for yourself as well.

 

SEO jobs are not like usual marketting jobs.. A strong portfolio will always be preffered over years of experience.
