And where are you getting this information from that I'm Egyptian, wow this guy is becoming worse by the day.

I think it's better for you to remain silent, or else risk embarrassing yourself.

Try not to be such an ignoramus. This is a public forum. If you want me to "mind my own business" then write your stupid thoughts in your Hello Jihad Kitty diary at home.

    Thank you, Apocalypse. :)

Are you speaking in tongues? Because I don't know what the hell you are talking about.

Anyway, I'm not from Egypt, but I will say that it's 1000x better than Romania.

Is this why Romanians are fleeing their country to beg on the streets of Paris, London, Berlin, Brussels, etc?

They now form "begging gangs" and fight each other to get the best turf to beg on LOL:

    Extracts from above article:

"One Romanian woman claims she was attacked by a gang of other Romanian beggars whilst playing the accordion outside the Trondheim Torg Shopping Centre.

“It’s war. Four men and a woman came up to me with an umbrella. They wanted my spot all to themselves, and she started hitting me with it when I refused to move,” says the 29-year-old, who was too frightened to reveal her name for the sake of her family."

Here is some more begging gangs in Vienna: click here.

And some more in Scotland: Click here.

    ;):D:cool:

On the other hand, I don't see many Egyptians fleeing their country, rather we see Egypt to be a tourist destination, while Romania is pretty much unknown in the world.

So you're cheer leading, once again fails to help Apocalypse out of his misery.

The Quality of Life Index measures cost of living, leisure and culture, economy, environment, freedom, health, infrastructure, risk and safety, and climate. Romania is still considered to be a much better place to live than Egypt (With Romanian beggars and all).

    That's their opinion, it's not a fact.

I'm afraid opinions will not help your friend Apocalypse, try harder.

The only time tourist will go to Romania if they want scary experience. I don't want to spoil your vacation but Egypt has 7 wonders of the world. Might want to visit the Great Pyramids. ;)

To a small extent, perhaps, but the Quality of Life Index is based on many facts. Results are based on a variety of factors including the U.S. State Department’s Index of Overseas Living Costs, literacy rates, newspaper circulation, primary and secondary school enrollment ratios, interest rates, GDP, GDP growth rate, GDP per capita, inflation rate, GNP per capita, population density per square kilometer, population growth rate, greenhouse emissions per capita, political rights, civil liberties, number of people per doctor, the number of hospital beds per 1,000 people, the percentage of the population with access to safe water, the infant mortality rate, life expectancy, length of railways, paved highways, navigable waterways in each country, U.S. Department of State’s hardship differentials, danger allowances, average annual rainfall, and average temperature.

According to the index, Romania ranks much higher than Egypt overall.

I can setup a website, populate it with fake statistics and go to forums to tell everyone about those stats.

Stats can easily be faked, so basically they are unreliable, especially when formulated by foreigners.

Apocalypse is in agreement, this is why he fled the scene, I think you should do the same.

I'm not sure you have problem with that statistics or Apocalyps!

it's important who they are not where they come from.

2010 Quality of Life Index - If you have any evidence these statistics and numbers are incorrect, prove it. Claiming one country is better than another can be highly subjective, but there are certain measurements that are commonly accepted. If you search "Quality of Life Index" in Google, you'll find many statistics. Here's another (but from 2005) - The Economist Intelligence Unit’s quality-of-life index. That one is older, but also ranks Romania much higher than Egypt.

"Apocalypse is in agreement, this is why he fled the scene, I think you should do the same."

Apocalypse is "fleeing the scene" and I should do the same? So dramatic. How old are you again?

At least, unlike you, I've presented actual measurable numbers to support my position. They're based on factors including "the U.S. State Department’s Index of Overseas Living Costs, literacy rates, newspaper circulation, primary and secondary school enrollment ratios, interest rates, GDP, GDP growth rate, GDP per capita, inflation rate, GNP per capita, population density per square kilometer, population growth rate, greenhouse emissions per capita, political rights, civil liberties, number of people per doctor, the number of hospital beds per 1,000 people, the percentage of the population with access to safe water, the infant mortality rate, life expectancy, length of railways, paved highways, navigable waterways in each country, U.S. Department of State’s hardship differentials, danger allowances, average annual rainfall, and average temperature."

Further, I've taken the time to compare different sources, and have looked for additional similar studies that measure the overall quality of life in places around the world. Yet, you apparently don't believe statistics on the Internet, unless, of course it's statistics that would reflect negatively on the US or Israel. I certainly wouldn't base my entire opinion of a country based on statistics, but they are indicators. On the other hand, you've brought little to the conversation, in that you simply posted that Egypt is 1000x better, and your feeble attempt to support that, was posting the worst picture you could find of Romania, and the best of Egypt. I could do the same.

    Look here's Somalia...[IMG].

    ...and here's Chad: [IMG]

    Lastly, here's Zimbabwe: [IMG]

Beautiful pics, right? Do they actually prove these are wonderful places to live? No.

You repeated this a number of this now.

If you cannot show us video footage (yes video footage) of how these stats have been accumulated I will not accept these statistics.

I can easily fish for some stats to back my claims, but I recognize this is a silly topic, hence I'm not really taking it serious.
