I read it. IMHO, the author of that article might be a bit dishonest. With the title, "How the US created Osama bin Laden". All we did is support the mujahideen, not Bin Laden. If we created Osama Bin Laden by supporting the mujahideen, what about the Saudi and Pakistan government? Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were bigger contributors than the US, but somehow he forgets to write that in his article. Where are all the articles saying, "How Saudi Arabia created Osama bin Laden" and "How Pakistan created Osama bin Laden"?

It probably would have been better if we didn't get involved. Just let the Soviet forces take over or let the mujahideen fight it out with the support of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Then we wouldn't have articles written about us claiming that we created a mass murderer. I think either way, Bin Laden would have chosen to hate the US. I think he wants to kill all Americans for having troops in Muslim countries and our support of Israel. I believe 911 was retaliation for having troops in Saudi Arabia. I wonder what payback he is planning for Iraq?
