No, I am not saying that. I'm saying that the Arab Nations are not inclined to and don't make any appreciable efforts to rid the Middle East of the anti-Israel/anti-peace terrorist groups who are allowed to fester and grow within their borders. Without them the problem gets worse and peace can never happen. As pointed out, if you do the math, a fraction of 1% of the Muslim population we were given still computes to at least 5 million terrorists dedicated to wiping Israel off the map. The entire Jewish population in Israel isn't much larger! So the end result is that there is farmore than a sufficient number of Islamic fundamentalists who can destroy the peace process indefinitely.

You are correct and not all Muslims are alike, nor are they militant. I'm not sure how to define "peaceful" in your context. But how do you explain the Muslim treatment of non-Muslims as "dhimmi" and the treatment of non-Muslims as second class citizens in the Middle East, taking such large countries such as Iran and Iraq for example? As listed in the BBC article above, Jews can inherit land if a family member converts and becomes a Muslim. So while there is some level of "civility" there still is a deep, inherent level of condescension of Muslims towards non-Muslims within the Entire Middle East. How would you feel if you could only be a US citizen and own land in Rhode Island but you'd have to carry a green card and have no practical land rights throughout the entire USA? How would you be perceived by others with your limited rights? That would be very rough. That's why it's very hard for Israel to understand the mentality here. Putting the recent Jewish land confiscation aside, how can the Palestinians and Arab Nations demand equality for the Palestinians in tiny Israel when all of them are not willing to do the same for the Jews/Israelis/Christians within their own borders? Remember that other than Israel, the Middle East is ruled by monarchs and dictators, none of whom are inclined to hand over power to the people and create a democracy that promulgates a system of fairness for all.

Yeah, they try and kill Hamas and other terrorists trying to attack them with rockets.

I suppose you think Israel should just let those poor Palestinians shoot rockets at Israel and do nothing about it. Every responsible government would attack those that are firing rockets and trying to kill its citizens.

It's the same repeated cycle from Palestinian fundamentalist.

    See this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=7061689&postcount=1345

Now the "aggression" is occuring "everyday" and the murder of "5+" people. If the Palestinians and fundamentalist Muslims would recognize that the Jews/Israelis have equal rights in the Middle East and in life, there would be no conflict. Treat others as you wish to be treated.

The fundamentalist Palestinian excuse is easy to identify once you've spotted it. It's this:
    - never talk about our history about how we may have treated others
    - it's always Israeli aggression and point to pictures of little children who are dead, regardless of the circumstances
    - always discuss how we are victims but never discuss problems we may have caused upon innocent people
    - if we've ever done anything wrong it's only because we have a right to be mad because we're oppressed and angry because of the Israeli aggression
    - never discuss a solution that is fair to all. We're the victims.

There are many Palestinians and Muslims who live in peace with Jews and Israelis. Unfortunately the fundamentalists don't care to listen. They just want to perpetually remain angry and blame everyone else - 9/11 was your fault. The suicide bombings were your fault. This book will explain much to you about the long history and culture in the Middle East that was extant long before the Israeli - Palestinian conflict.
