at the same way that i like people of any religion,i like then and i think that they deserve respect..
Some facts about the jews... *Jews are so few in number that in a room of 1,000 people representing the world's population, only two would be Jewish. *In the sciences, Jews have won 22 percent of all the Nobel Prizes ever awarded - 29 percent of the prizes since 1950, after the Holocaust destroyed a third of their numbers. Given their small population, Jews should have earned only one of the 502 Nobels awarded for physics, chemistry, medicine and physiology. They have won 123. *They are disproportionately counted in most of the arts. Since their respective dates of inception, America's leading symphony orchestras have been led by Jewish conductors one-third of the time. They have created nearly two-thirds of Broadway's longest running musicals. Probably one-fourth of the greatest photographers of all time have been Jews, as have 10 percent of the world's great master architects. Of movie directors who earned Oscars, 38 percent were Jews. *In education, it is difficult to name an academic discipline in which they have not played a leading role. Certainly Jews have been seminal thinkers in philosophy (Spinoza, Maimonides, Marx)physics (Einstein, Bohr, Gell-Mann, Feynman, Szilard), mathematics (Von Neumann, Mandelbrot, Fefferman, Zelmanov, Erdos), chemistry (Heeger, Kohn, Kroto, Olah), linguistics (Chomsky), paleontology (Gould), medicine (Flexner, Chain, Goldstein and Brown, Salk, Sabin, Prusiner), *They have earned 38 percent of all Nobel Prizes for economics and 67 percent of the John Clarke Bates Medals for promising economists under age 40. *In philanthropy, a December 2004 Business Week listing of America's fifty most generous benefactors included at least nineteen Jewish families and individuals. Their charitable donations totaled nearly $10 billion over less than five years. More than 90 percent of their donations went to secular causes in support of education, health care and medicine, arts, culture, and the humanities. It is remarkable that 38 percent of America's most philanthropic people come from a group representing only 2 percent of its population. *Jews have held the world chess championship title for roughly two-thirds of the time since it began in 1834, and in bridge, the legend of the game, Charles Goren, was Jewish.
You are aware the Protocols is a piece of fiction, first written in Russia in 1903? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protocols_of_the_elders_of_zion
As Israeli Jewish I think you just luckless I think every ethnic group/culture have good people and bad people.
Which of course, is considered rep abuse, and can lead to banning from the forum. AGS wouldn't have ever done that...oh, wait...
My one brother in law is part jewish, very nice guy. His mom or dad ? I honestly don't know which one is jewish, both people are extremely nice. The point of nice that I don't think they are capable of a bad word, besides maybe against 'republicans' They are very liberal, I however don't see a difference between them and anyone else, especially not because of the religion. I actually was just over at my sisters house a few days ago, my brother in law was there and his mom and dad stopped over 'I think it's his mom, again I forget which one is' I however talked with her for awhile, even on politics. She's totally opposite of me on politics, I however can have a friendly discussion with her on such topics which is refreshing.
The Protocols are a Forgery-Im a Jew,theres some jews i dont like as with any other people. I Believe in People,I believe in Good and Bad,i dont hate a whole race or religion because of a couple of schmucks. I dont base my arguments on disputes 60 years old,i dont base my arguments on complete crap made up by antisemitic fools.
I'm Jewish and I'm more conservative than liberal, I think most jews are. Approval ratings for Bush were higher in Israel than even in Texas.
I was only speaking of my experience, never said jews were one way or another. However I had always viewed polls saying the other end, more liberal than conservative. Supporting Bush however in Israel, bit different situation. Supporting funding and wars that Israel might consider enemies, doesn't make it being 'liberal' or 'republican' plus jewish people in Israel are not the same as in the US politically speaking of course.
True, things are different from this point of view. Any stats on what candidate most US jews support?
http://web.israelinsider.com/Articles/Politics/9818.htm There are lots of articles If they are accurate though is another story
I would have to say that was a great write-up. I am guessing he hit it very much on the head. If many of those Jews who are on the left realized that most of todays American neo-nazis and such have been voting on the left too, they might see who their bedfellows are.
Every group has an abundance of those who think they are smarter and are jerks. Some cities seem to actually specialize in those kind of people.
