I don't think this current conflict is only about religion. It's also about nationalism. It's especially about past grievances that have never been addressed and continue to fester. Mostly the conflict is about a lack of respect and communication. That's why negotiation and peace need to be brought into the picture. I suggest mediation.
Sorry you're wrong. These are orthodox jews which are opposed to the entire idea of Israel. They've also been opposed to the state of Israel long before they started dumping bombs on Gaza.
