Hi Guys, I have a problem with my Comparison site's image slider located in the header. The problem is that, in IE10 (an possibly other IEs) only one of the images load instead of two. The images are meant to be linked with Java Script. The links don't work either. Interestingly it all works perfectly when I switch to compatibility view. Also it all works as intended in Firefox and chrome. Is there anyway I can debug it some how? I am not a JavaScript guru hence why I am on here asking for your help. Please let me know what you think would fix the issue and i'll do my best to follow your guidance. Here is my site: Comparisim.co.uk I really appreciate your help.
@rukbat - Tranny or not though it wouldn't cause this problem. NOT having a doctype at all would... so while it's a trap (and not the delicious kind) the site probably shouldn't have been built using it, that wouldn't be the cause of the problem... though the page in question has a HTML 5 doctype (and did when I looked at this yesterday) so not sure why you even said that. The problem is using bleeding edge not ready for primetime HTML 5 asshattery that has no business on websites, mated to "gee ain't it neat" pointless javascript with inaccessible garbage fixed width layout -- mated to code that to be brutally frank reeks of the worst of 1997/HTML 3.2 coding practices -- again proving what I've been saying about HTML 5 for about two years now -- the target audience is developers who until a few years ago were slapping 4 tranny on their HTML 3.2, now they just wrap 5's lip-service cuckold around it completely ignoring the past fifteen years legitimate advances in functionality and usability. EVEN MORE OF A LAUGH for a site that's about mobile, and wasn't even built to be usable FROM mobile... again thanks to the same thing wrong with 90%+ of the websites people come here asking about problems with -- fixed width layout, px metric fonts, "gee ain't it neat" scripting for nothing apart from pissing all over the page's accessibility and speed, illegible color contrasts, and on the whole ignoring every single bit of modern development methodology... and for WHAT?!? For goofy effects, useless forms, and nothing remotely resembling graceful degradation. Which is why, like a lot of sites slapped together any old way in turdpress, I say throw it out and start over clean. There's nothing worth even trying to save from that mess.
