(note this forum sticks adds by Google into the thread/ try and ignore that, its nothing to do with us) right on to our post I am looking for someone with javascript and html experience, to fix some problems with some web pages. This could lead to further work in the future, if we are both satisfied. We have many jobs that require editing, mostly involving re sizing of the scale of javascript games to fit within the boundaries of space available within the frame they sit in. Ill give an example of the type of things need fixing for our first contract job. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Project name - CC ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Problem 1 page 1, you can see I have background art (red with black borders) the two black squares are links, only they don't work because I have the javascript of the calculator over the top, so this makes a problem, I want the calculator to work, and also those areas with the black box must be hot spots, clicking inside them is a link (use link1.html, and link2.html) Ill edit the page source myself for the correct urls. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Problem 2 Two scripts here, bottom script is not scaled or aligned the same as the top one, also need to be slightly less wide, I think perhaps just re scaling the text on the two cooking measurements text would fix that, also its too long and goes out of the frame, so it needs changing so that doesn't happen, it must not go outside of the inner black frame on the artwork. so getting rid of some wasted space would be one way, it may fit of one does that and one can still keep the size of the elements without having to scale them smaller. The links work fine on this page, they are .png files, the red border is just for testing, so it can be seen, but like I said at the start, its up to you if you either edit my web pages, or just paste the code into your own web program for better control, its up to you. Also they are in boxes around each category to break each one up, that grey frame, I need a version with that left visible, and a version with it not seen as Ill alter the art under it to show new frames dividing the categories. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Problem 3 page 3, needs to look like instruction folder / positioned page3.jpg So it needs altering, also it doesn't work, but no worry, the javascript is in the file originals, so you can get it from that, also don't have the web pages pointing to a directory with a javscript file, all javascript is embedded in the web page, it doesn't get its javascript for a file in a directory, it gets it from the page itself. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Project name - CGfull ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Problem 1 Using non standard fonts in our offline web site. These web pages play from the users hard disk and not the web The web page uses a non standard font, I don't want the user to download a font and install it to a directory, for example a windows user would have to put the font in their C:\windows/fonts directory. The fonts that are used in this web page are stored in the directory fonts The web pages must be altered, so that it gets the fonts from that directory DO NOT - take the fonts and have them sent to another directory. The fonts must NOT be copied to another directory. Change the web page so that it points to the fonts directory and uses the fonts from that location, or they are embedded in the web page somehow. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Problem 2 Web page with all the clocks together on one page running multiple scripts at once, I combined all my scripts into one page, but then hit an error, they wouldn't all work at once, or all be seen at once, I fixed that by combining them, but when I did that the bar graph clock, The perfect size is here where the original is Binary Clock.html but it is not scaled correctly in this version that has all the scripts running at once, it becomes too bigger. So you can take your pick in which one to fix, either the one scaled correctly but the scripts clash and don't work together, or the one that works, but has the scale of one of the clocks made two big, either one fixing is OK, take your pick. version Time Master.html Is scaled and positioned correctly, but not all the scripts are showing on the screen and only one is running version Time Master1.html All scripts are running, all can be seen, but there is a problem, the bar graph clock, the very last clock, the one right at the bottom of the page, it is not scaled right for our needs, it is too big, if you compare it to the one in Time Master.html you will see that one is smaller, it is the correct size. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- So as can be seen above, its nothing too complex. @Op, Quite a brief one. please mention the problem alone, people in DP will read to some extent and not to this extent. Even the programmer who would have skipped this solution, just coz it was too long.

I'm just going to note here so we don't waste time. I hire coders regular, I know what they charge, and how long they take, and how much code they write in their time. All be it not in javascript, but lets say I know what kind of bang I get for my buck. I also know how much work is involved on this job, and how much code is written, and how much time it takes, so lets be sensible and not give silly quotes, because all that happens is that I just cross you off permanently as usable for anything at all, either now or any time in the future.
