    I used to be a web application developer back in the day, and in 2009 I stopped using JavaScript and my work didn't require it. In the digital era, you look away for a moment and turn back, what you see is fubar. When html5 was introduced, and things were becoming more standardized, I began dabbling in JavaScript again. I saw the other day how popular JavaScript is now. It's near the top in terms of most commonly used languages.

    So, I came back, and I want to learn. Learning is fun when you compete, and you learn a lot quickly when doing so. Everyone benefits.

    Do you guys ever hold JavaScript contests? Do any of you participate in JavaScript contests? If so, which ones?
