    There is a new Java exploit making the rounds. You really should consider disabling Java in your browser.

    Very good post. This may be confusing to Linux users who aren't using Oracles Java, but are using some other open source version. I Googled and found some information, nothing authoritative that is black and white, but it appears that open java may be part of announcement. However, if you are using a web extension such as icetea then you should be good.

    I'm pulling open java 7 off my system just to be safe and using 6 as a fallback.
