There are many resume makers or builder online and desktop applications. Most developers use their imagination when coding a resume software and there should be some kind of API created and endorsed by established recruitment businesses. Do you think this is a good and practical idea?
What would the income stream be for the API owner? Most resume/ CV builder sites are linked into their recruitment site and so you sign up and add your cv to their db of potential candidates at the same time.
It will be the same as Sun's JSRs. The source code by itself could be coded by one developer, but the doc and literature need established job boards' contribution. As the API owner i ask for any impl to be compliant. In return they have to simply link to api web site. I myself I have a resume builder in my web site, so I will make it as the default impl
