Jargon: what do the acronyms and words mean?

I notice a lot of people on here use jargon and acronyms they think everyone knows. I'd like to make this thread so you all could post what acronyms you personally use and what they mean? I have a sinking feeling this will turn into a link fest, but so be it. We have people posting from around the world and they use very different language in this online marketing, quite a bit I don't understand.

    Here I'll start you off:

cpc = cost per click [used in adsense]

i think most of us who have been at it for a while like to slam out acronyms because repeatedly writing 'search engine optimization' over and over again is a pain in the ass as opposed to a quick 'seo', or whatever else. i think the majority of us also like to think that the average noob who gives a shit and can put in a little effort knows where google is and knows how to use it.... rtfm :D
