Japanese hack attack: 700 pages added and all indexed on Google

    Hi everyone.

I installed an add-on to the site I used Wordpress. I think they infiltrated the site through that plugin. Over 700 fake pages have opened the site. They indexed all of them simultaneously on Google.

I restore the site by uploading past backups. That fake page now gives a "404 not found" error. The pages indexed on Google are still there.

I have tried to delete it manually from the Search Console, but it's too many. Is there a different solution? When are these absurdly indexed japanese pages deleted from Google?

All the content I entered was indexed by Google within 3 hours. Would it be an effect or a harm?

Yes, because they are pointing into nowhere. Google doesnt like these 404 errors :)

    The solution:
Setup proper 301 redirects to your homepage from each url which is within the index.

    Todo:
Download the urls and put them into a file. Then use a redirect plugin where you can upload in bulk.
Should be work for 20 minutes.

    My plugin recommendation: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/

It'll help the community to know exactly which plugin allowed the URL injections :)
