All of my jobs are DIVs ( " table'less " ) and are not valid. It's not always a good thing to have valid CSS/XHTML. In my case it isn't, anyways.

If one person would like one $8.00 service (no review required), I can do a page (additional pages priced as usual).

Explain that? Do you just code with poor code? If you code right, your page automatically validates. I never have to go validate anything unless by some chance I forget to add a alt="" for the images, in which case it wouldn't validate.

Please give me the reasons as to why it's not a good thing to have VALID CSS/XHTML, and I would also like to see one or two of your jobs.

    Thanks
    Nick

Table'd codes are still valid. It doesn't have to be table'less to validate, since you have to use tables in even CSS designs when you have something like a calendar or a table.

CSS/XHTML Validation means that the code is written correctly.

    Nick

    Samples?

Are they going to be browser compatiable? IE6, IE7, Firefox, Safari, Opera? Will they be SEO optimized? Content first.

Yeah, cheapest labor is right. In my opinion, they should put limit on how much something could cost. Coding for example..I don't charge even my best clients lower than $40 for XHTML/CSS, and yet I've seen at least 3 threads with it for $10/piece. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but any moderate sized html piece will take me at least an hour to do, because you slice it, you optimize it, you code it, you make sure it works in all browsers. That is time consuming. Coding is not a $10 job. If it was, I'd go and stay outside 7/11 instead, and just get 7 bucks an hour opening the door for shmucks to go in and out.

Anyway I'm done ranting. Don't want it to seem like I'm taking over his thread.

    Regards,
    Nick
