Could be worse, he could have been living in the middle east, they will take a hand rather then go through trials, and yes I have seen it done.

 

If you friend makes restitution they may give him a lighter sentence.

 

Was that paid for or also stolen?

 

That stuff was paid for by a loan from the bank.

Trust me i know olso people who have been not very lucky but i don't petty them becouse they could make it bether with hard work but instead they don't do nothing ...

 

can't he work something out with the owner of the place he works?

 

In England you may get off if you have no previous, no prison time but out of pocket more to teach you a lesson and community service, depends though.

 

I would start by posting this question on the right type of forum - Perhaps a legal one?

 

I just called his brother, and he said he found out that he's not in jail!!!!

He has to have community service or something I would think.
