I have been testing my major engine traffic and found a very interesting association that I am hoping others can confirm or deny.

I rank well for many keywords except for those I pay ad*words for. I do not rank for these in boogle - but of course I show up on the right.

I am in the top 20 for these terms in yahoo and msn but not in noogle and I am soooo low its hard to find me.

I guess g$$gle thinks I'm already paying to be there so I wont mind not being in the natural serps.

    Has anyone else noticed this?

Common conspiracy theory going around nowadays.......

but also aren't the "money" words that you pay adwords to appear on also more competitive and more profitable?

if we could only divert all searchers to yahoo and/or msn, life would be WONDEFUL!

Participation in AdWords has no effect what-so-ever on the natural serps.

I rank #1 for a fairly competitive search term in telecoms. As an experiment we bought an Adword for those terms. It didn't alter the natural SERP at all. :)

I dont see it. I dropped off the face of the earth for several keywords that I ranked high for, and I still hold #1, #2, #3 #11 etc. at yahoo. I dont use adwords.
