Yes, this is an important piece of information in deciding if your findings should be believed or discounted. ;)

Is Jagger 3 supposed to the canonical changes or fixes or whatever? I don't mind these current results, they are much more favorable to me. I didn't see any of these results when I looked at the "jagger 2" datacenters.

This is Matt Cutts' latest entry in his comments section.

I cannot understand how this could be considering on the supposed 66.102.7.104 Jagger1 server, I am seeing great results whereas on the Jagger2 server (66.102.9.104), my results are not so favorable.

Previously on 66.102.7.104, I was seeing crap results...was that Jagger -1? I dont know if Cutts got it mixed up but I'm not feeling as good as I was earlier today.

Here is recent update for those of you wondering:

    From Matt Cutts Blog:

So for those of you who think you are seeing Jagger 3, please go join the yokels at WMW who insist that Jagger 3 is out there in every corner and crevice. While we see that Jagger 2 is not even fully distributed yet.

    Edit: Damn you baseball cube!

Just kidding. If Jagger3 has not yet arrived, then I'm looking forward to even better results when it does.

I am seeing the results that started earlier now on a few other DC's. Is anyone else seeing the same? I think it is the beggining of Jagger 3 but who knows at this point. I am noticing big changes for the good.

More from Matt Cutts - a reply to a comment:

Previously, he said that the three waves are independent yet interactive updates, so I would take that to mean that J3 is not "fixing" J1 or J2 but rather involves additional changes that may affect how J1 and J2 impact on the search results.

IMO good clean results on 66.102.7.104 at least for the topic areas I know best. These are SERPs I have not seen before.

If Jagger3 is based on these, I'd call the update a success.

Finally...... I'm seeing my sites come up 400 to 700 spots on a couple of data centers.

Maybe we should start a new jagger 3 thread. A 'for real' jagger 3 thread.

yes,66.102.7.104, seem to be the good results that i saw earlier, but they are not spread across all the center, unfortunately.

well yes of course, but also less affiliate links on words i monitor too. I don't mind being outranked, but I don't want 404, affiliate links and dead ebay auctions ahead of me.

And none of them anime sites, either!

I'm also not crazy having women with screaming kids in shopping carts ahead of me... especially if they need a clean diaper...
