Dude every one expects a photo whenever there's a word cake or bisciut. yes u have included the photos but of smaller size, try loading bigger size image with different snaps.
Serif fonts are more difficult to read in screen media, and lack of spacing between your paragraphs makes it look like one giant run-on. Font sizes are good, but the uber-narrow fixed-width stripe looks kind of childish at higher resolutions - on that count you may want to look into a semi-fluid layout. The rounded corners on your boxes could use a bit of anti-aliasing as they are a bit too jagged, some sort of pattern on the background apart from the gradient to 'break things up a bit' would make it look a hair more professional, and if you are going to have multiple pages you should probably have a menu up top instead of inlined in the content text at the bottom. Being a new site and so simple, there is no good reason to be throwing a tranny doctype at it - likewise the overabundance of presentational markup, endless redundant classes and unneccessary DIV's, and use of HTML style tags in a XHTML doctype are pretty much made of /FAIL/ - frankly I'm suprised it only has 25 validation errors as I was ballparking double that. Not that one expects a whole lot from a turdpress template.
