Do I have to make the next Myspace or my blog will generate money? Does someone here in this forum makes more then 10k/month or there a lot of liars? What is the key point to profit with adsense ? There are several people on this forum making more than 10K/month. I'm not one of them. AdSense is not easy money growing on trees and raining down for you to roll around in, but it's also not as intimidating as "you have to create the next MySpace." Just about anybody can realistically make at least a hundred a month after a decent amount of research and work.
No, because normal people don't go out of their way to learn best practices and then work hard persistently over the long term. No idea. Choose the right niche in the first place. Use a trackers to test ad positions etc. Keep writing day after day. Like a lot of things people hype up, when all the dust settles, it's those who work smart, hard, and long-term that get the results.

No. It's been proven over and over again that only Martians have the ability to "make it big" with Adsense.

I know one guy who's not on this forum but in the same line of work as myself and he made 6000 last month with Adsense. That's CLOSE to 10k, so I'm sure for some of the folks with multiple sites, 10k is really doable if you know what you're doing. 10k seems like a lot to common folks like you or I, but to a multi-billion dollar industry, it's LINT of Fuzz in their pockets. What is the key point to profit with adsense ? Quality content + Traffic. Whats the truth about all the adsense buzz? I don't know if there is "buzz" -- I can tell you it's not an overnight thing. You have to build. 2 dollar days become five dollar days over time, then 5 becomes 10 and so on. It takes time and patience. Don't we ALL wish there was a magical code we could put on a crappy website and deliver us hundreds or thousands a day!? hahhaah....
hahaha... well since english its not my first language I expressed myself in an ambiguos way. What meant was if I needed special knowledge to "make it big" like a webmaster, or if an avarage internet joe can do it. We can speak portuguese if you guys want... lol =P thanks for the answers
Anybody can do it. It just takes time, persistence, and most of all, patience. Spend some time reading about all the first-timer mistakes on this board. You'll learn so much in a week you'll swear you paid for a college course in Adsense.
if money from adsense is what attracts u to start websites ... its not going to happen overnight . I think lot of us making some money from adsense has sites already before adsense came into existence. Having a few established sites help a lot. An old domain or an old popular site helps in starting new websites and getting more traffic and money. Adsense has changed the world for webmasters and the web ... web is a profitable business again !!
I gotta imagine that those who speak other languages might have a certain advantage these days. There's so much out there in English and thus, English language competition, that people who get into adsense businesses now can probably take xyzEnglish.com and make it into xyzPortugues.com, throw in some adsense make some money. Although that sounds slightly unethical to me... I don't know what the Portugues adword market is like, but I think Spanish is getting pretty up there. As long as there're advertisers right?
A good lot of my friends who make real good money from Adsense had their websites well established before they started using it. I think one of the biggest problems anyone faces is that if you're making a website solely to make money from Adsense then you will find it hard put your heart & soul into it, therefore the site will suffer in the long run. Especially if you see no short term Adsense returns. If you make a site about something you love & enjoy then people will come. Then adsense can follow
In my experience well established site with useful quality content and a bucket load of targetted traffic can make serious money. You can improve thing with ad placement and colors but if you don't have the key ingredients then this won't make that much difference.

I am normal (not gay or anything lol) and I earn and pretty good amount of money from adsense that helps me pay for my hosting and for my video games also. you don't have to be like Einstein or anything to earn money from adsense, just need to be patient for the first 6 months or more . Once you understand what Adsense is and how to manage it, then everything will be like a BOOM .. ur revenue will goes up and up and up! Myspace is now #4 in Alexa, so I don't think it's even possible for me to make a site with that much of traffic, and I will if I have enough money to compete against Myspace lol Once ur site gets popular .. who cares about myspace ha! AdSense is definitely not a get rich quick scheme, but we make a decent amount from the sites we own. As far as progression goes, we made $120 in our first month, and have broken $2000 via AdSense in the last few. It takes hard work, like any other money making idea.
