IwhiC merged with AHosting - Problems.

I see IwhiC is now owned by Ahosting, i am currently hosting with IwhiC and am facing lots of problems.

Is anyone else who is hosted with iwhic having problems ?
My sites are always down at random times, some are short downtimes but it happens more than once daily.

Here's there server load at the moment,



Anyone else having problems with them?
If anyone can recommend me reliable reseller hosting to host a few of my personal sites that'd be great. Uptime is a must.

From what it looks like to me that load could be caused by someone spamming off his server ive had load 60+ due to 300k + Mailing lists that were in my Que

And I knew about them merging a week or so ago even tho I am not a client..

yeah its been like this the whole week, and my site is not hosted on that server.

 

Hi yes iwhic is now owned by ahosting, I am not sure what changes they have made and why they did the changes, I do know that they changed ips on a few servers (we are not sure why they would do this)

We are still helping with the support from time to time but with all the server set up changes and ip changes and not knowing what they did to the servers to make alot of sites have 500 and 403 errors it is hard to pin point any problem.

They are a big hosting company with more support techs and are keeping all servers at Caro and all accounts on the same servers. (so not sure why make every one change ips is beyond me).

We are working with them to resolve everyones issues but I am kinda in the dark as to what is going on.


Update as to why they changed ips on freedom server,

For some technical reason caro had to move Freedom server to another rack and had to assign new ips

that is all the info i have on this,.

 

why did you sell your company to ahosting, iwhic? Just wondering, I am curious since iwhic is such an established company.

IwhiC please man, i think you made a bad decision.

Few hours later, its down again.

2 mins later, its down again.

Like seriously, its ruining my site and visitors.

Wow IwhiC sold? I just noticed stuff going down. Oh well guess it's plan B for me, move everything home.

IwhiC was great while it lasted. Sorry it had to end this way.

 

My site has been down for the last 20 hours, but I don't think I'll be able to get a refund because of the takeover. This is seriously ridiculous.

 

and iwich is saying stuff about me ages ago and look they sold out you see people like that do sell out or go bascailly they just sold out and left really

 

It seems this will be the way with many, if not, all small hosts. I've been in this around a year now and I only started to gain experience, now I'm probably going to be in it aslong as I'm trying to earn online because it allows so many other opportunities. Ultimately I'd like to build up something allowing me to go into business in the "real" world, though would probably still run my online stuff too.

 

Whenever a host runs the 'company' like a Ponzi scheme , they are bound to go down, or be sold.
They depend on clients paying highly discounted Yearly payments to pay for their servers, & when the next payment date comes, they are looking for more Yearly clients to pay this time. So a promotion (discounted yearly payments) is announced which pays off. This continues till the server gets overloaded , & keeps going down. Now, they are in a fix, & they either sell off, like in this case, or just leave with all customers in the dark.

Selling off is the better option between the 2 , & I am glad Iwhic did that.

Ok to clear things up we did not sell off due to any of or customers or any econimic reason. we were never in the need to sell cheap just to pay the server bills they were all paid every month with monthly clients with plantly left over.

Our decision to sell was a person reason. We needed more time with the family and Aimee came down with some medical issues and we thought that selling to a established company like ahosting where they have more time to handle the support of our clients. That would give us the time for Aimees doctors appointments. I am not going to go into much details on the forum of the medical issues she is facing but this had to be done.

If you guys could bear with the new owners I am finding out now what is the cause of all this down time.

Urbt please pm me with the problems you are having and your vps ip number and hyper vm ip so that i can talk with them to see what is going on.

SoulZipper I am looking into what is going on with liberty server now, can you also pm me with all your issues so that i can relay that to them as well.
I can not access the server so i will have to talk to them and see what can be done.
