iWhic are a cheap, slow and unreliable host. If you pay a price like that, you get what you expect. If you use a better provider and pay a little more like WiredTree, you will have no such problems.
i ad a problem with them i got a host from gnoxhost on shared and it kept crashing after so much ppl download and visiting gnoxhost is with this company so beware
IwHiC is a realy good host. First of all, both owners are sick, the caught a flu, and second, they had a hard-driver crash, so that must be it
yea but when u have the flu u should get some sleep, he will still use the computer and help u, just slower responses
Ok I want to thank FreeTheNoob for linking me here! I would have had to see this thread after it got out of control and run over by bullshit. Yes Aimee and I are both sick,have been for 5 days now! Never mind that! We are alive just sick and still working no big deal.. And NO ticket has been unanswered. as you can see we answered him, and at that time we did not know the issue or what node he was on so we were looking into it. Onto the VPS issue.. Yes we were told there was a issue with the server, No one could pin point what it was. Well at 5:14 this morning it was a failed hard drive. There is around 8 VPS that we are not sure of we can recover files for. What to do? Well if they have a local copy then there vps will be restored back to that. For those that did not have a local copy, Guess what YOU are not along 2 OF those VPS servers that have files not recovered are MINE! IM UP SHIT CREEK! nothing I can do any more then the other 6 clients. Now for those that do have to START over.. I am TRULY SORRY! That VPS node had been online for 87 days with NO REBOOT or issue.. We never expected this crash. Im so sick over this I think I stroked today! I will give the other cleints 2 Months of vps payments for free! Just allow us time to rebuild your vps on a new node and we will get the billing done for you. Does this erase the fact of what happened NO I know this.. And I dont know what more I can do. As any host has stated in there TOS. You are soley responsible for your files and back ups. Host gater had crash last week 1900 clients files gone,, BOO HOO Did that make the forums NO why becuase they are covered under there TOS. Im personally saying IM PISSED and Im sorry that these 8 vps might not be recovered. I will work with these clients to do what I can to ease the pain. NOW FOR THE LIAR's in this crowd. accyuklad Your site was hosted with them, NOT ME and they HOSTED HACKING scripts and the were penalized. Had nothing to do with ME! Period! So you need to contact your host and ask them why your site is not active. You want to host BS on my servers and interfere with other clients and cause DMCA complaints then blame it on me, so your clients hate me. Your screwed! I will follow you around online AND TELL the truth My server logs are back up every night to a 500gb hd and I can recall every complaint / suspension / and back the TRUTH UP!~ Now Im done! Being Professional comes with trust that is why ,1900 personal clients have hosting with us! Why because of statement 1! Yes I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment. And things are a little behind. I don't understand how so many people here seem to like downtime. Our customers allready threaten to kill us if we have 10 minutes downtime
Well Iwich is good but u have had a go at to many people no offence am not flameing you but u flamed me ages ago and i never scrammed anyone but now am back but i was never a scrammer but do take it easy cause ur will iwich hope you get better
i would suggest everyone to stop bashing iwhic they help you everytime, they keep your site online , they gave you best deal , they try to help you very quickly and just for a small problem you are bashing them ? im not even a iwhic customer nor i know any of them but im just posting this because i dont like the way you all blaming and behaving with iwhic so my suggestion is try to understand and cooperate with host
Not with me at least... About 2-3 hours/day for me... It's quite expensive for not being online much.... About within 2 days...So not sure it's 'quickly'... Not bashing them..just asking for money back but they refuse... Better than me...just stay away...
I personally have never had an issue with IWHIC, I have never known them to lie about anything, those of you who have issues stop adding to the thread, they admit they have had issues, they are still one of the best hosts out there.
A good way to solve this would be: Which servers are UP? Which servers are DOWN? And then forward this information to them... It'd be something like: I have [DOMAIN.EXT] hosted at IP: 66.66.66.66 Just my two cents. Regards.
