Hmmm... everyone has the right to complain if they are not receiving a service, or avoiding their uptime weather it's guaranteed or not.
Is that what you call 'gratitude' ?

I'm just curious more than anything

What exactly was not booting about it? Was it kernel panicing on boot? Or did it want to run a fsck and someone messed up and ran it on a mounted partition?

I'm just really curious here, because I believe you said it was a PDU issue originally which would make me think it would want someone from console to run a manual fsck when it came back online due to drive going off while writing maybe. If the person has no idea what they're doing I've seen people fsck mounted file systems causing it to go to a mess.

I know they have the right to complain, but by the sounds of it he was getting perfect service and a small downtime makes him snap like that. I would expect a response like this maybe 2-3 days of downtime. He didnt even give them time not even knowing the whole proccess abusing the host as if he thought they ment reboot as in hit the restart button.

Was simply pointing that out to him that it wasnt hitting a button and away it goes, sorry for the confusion.

Ok guys,, No fighting on my post. LOL,,,, We are doing a script update on all the accounts now so they are all updated with the sever Apache v2 as on the other server we had v1
So as soon as that is finished things should be okay!
Yes we will have these done tonight and as far as some minor adjustments to some accounts, Things look great.
I have tested and looked on over 40 accounts at random and I find nothing wrong.
So No fighting and please hang with me just a little longer.
    Thank You all

Sites are not gone. We have had a bit of a problem with getting the named restored it is not restoring 100% and their for, the most important part of this is the association with the IP address and the domain.
We are in progress of restoring this now. That is why all accounts are seeing the Apache Page.
Besides a few minor tweaks after this is restored all users will have full working accounts again.
Ive had so much fun with this server. That I don't want to do it again,
Once is enough. And IwhiC will make the changes needed to prevent such awe full down time, if a problem of this nature arises.
    Good Morning or Good night.
    Ill update shortly!
    Thank you
    Jason

Have they gone down again? None of my sites are loading now, not even to the cPanel/WHM splash screen.

Back up server was not down, I changed my dns to soon.. oops
Everything is up EXCEPT MY domain. We did have to revert the server back to Apache 1 and reload php5.2.4 In order to get things to work.
My dedicated Ip is stuck some where in the http config file and as soon as we find it I will have our support system back online.
Any support from that time forware will be done through the support center.
If you need assistance before then email

or IM yahoo at same address.
    Thank you
    Jason

    Any updates Jason?

Please dont say its going to be okay in 5 minutes. Please just give a realistic timeline and we can all stop bugging you till the sites get back up. If you cant provide hosting than please provide us with a way to get backups of the sites we have hosted with you. I have lost over $120 over the last 4 days in ad revenue because my site has been down.

I have lost even more than mubin, in the last few days, it really isn't looking good, though apparently my domain is at the top of the list to be fixed next, I was told this, 2 hours ago.

Wow down again, this company is a failure! In a way I feel sorry for IwhiC putting all his effort but still... you will sure loose customers because of how the long down time is. DAYS of downtime....... not hours

I am a host myself and even since we first started we had no down time or outages.( 100% )

I signed up for IwhIC as they provide cPanel services, as we provide our own branded control panel called 'eXtend' It will be hard-work to move all my clients to a different server.. over 200
