If you visit that OTHER forum, you'll notice that they've been hacked.
The hacker defaced their site with an ugly baby-man image, and some crazy
    text.

Yeah, imagine my surprise when the Firefox tab I have "auto refresh" every 2
minutes had that ugly image instead of my PM box?

Use the forum URL for that site. Just ad "talk." to the url. (not linking due to
    respect for Digital Point).

Actually, it seems they got a handle on it. They've removed that image, and all
you get is the site apache index listing.

If it was a simple port 80/web service attack, yeah...but if they got into databases,
root access - they'd be stressing right now!

Give them a couple of days, I know the owner. They have been attacked plenty of times and have recovered.

That owns. At first when I saw it, I thought it was just a joke or something. Looks like all of the sub-directories are deleted also, nothing works!

Their main web site has a virus inside; so be careful and don't visit the web site without having any protection enabled.

Seems like they are working on it - great news, I certainly hope they manage to restore everything - as it is quite a big network.
