Hello, I am trying to make a simple free imagehosting site using a script from www.scripteen.com. I beleive that I have installed it correctly, but when I upload pictures and then go to gallery to view them the thumbnails show, but when you click on them it goes to a 404 page. The other problem is that the url upload doesn't work, but the upload from pc does. This isn't really a concern to me but I thought I'd mention it incase the issues are related. It would be nice if I could fix it. The only thing that I can think I might have done wrong is that the permissions for the image folder were supposed to be chmod to 755, but on godaddy you can only choose read write or execute. Currently it is read write and execute for owner and read and execute for user which is their default. I would have posted this in the scripteen forum but for some weird reason I am able to signup there but it won't let me log in. If anybody can help me it would be much appreciated and obviously ++rep. If you want to take a look the website adress is www.picturecity.org Cheers, Jacob
Your permissions are OK, 755. Use your own ftp client if your host's web ftp form is too limiting for you. Double check the t-nail link's path to the original. If you get a 404 error, that means the requested file wasn't where the link said it was. cheers, gary
try the script that was posted in the freebies section, even I got it to work http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=982575
