I've referred someone, they show up but ref. weight is 0

    I have someone I referred showing up on my referred list but the referral weight is 0.

    They are active in the network.

    Any idea what's going on?

    Maybe their weight is less than 10, so 10% of that is zero! :D

    Doesn't look like a very realistic thing, but I am putting it here for the sake of debating ! :)

    I think the unspoken advice to me in Schlottke's post was: be patient, give it some time, gather the facts and then post a request for assistance.

    Maybe I got .01 referral weight?

    Do you know the weight of the reffered person's account?

    If you don't then we can keep guessing all day.

    I have 3 referrals with 0. They all have validation/installation problems, only put the ads on the homepage or have no pages in G's index.

    My guess is that your referral has similar issues.

    Check to see if the site is indexed by Google. If it's not, then they would have a weight of 0 at this point (0 x 10% = 0).
