Hi all, Anyone who's been Internet Marketing for a while will remember an SEO fad which came and went based around the idea that you could present Google with your own list of Search Directory results. These would be pages literally made up from scraping content from DMOZ or elsewhere and then presenting them back as Directory based sites. Obviously it's a long time since Google fell for that sort of weak content. But the concept of automatically generated pages has of course always been a holy grail for internet marketers and that got me thinking about how it might be possible to take that now outdated concept and update it for the modern day. Unlike that early primitive software - can anyone remember it's name by the way - I basically knew that it would need to perform two tasks. One was to attract the search engines, but the other was to make the pages actively useful for real people surfing the net and trying to find solutions to problems. At last, I've recalled what the name of one of the pieces of primitive software that I was thinking of that did the job I've described above - it was called RankingPower. Does anyone else remember that old chestnut?
