    Hi guys,

Im starting my own proxy site, I've purchased the domian via godaddy and due to them not allowing proxy hosting Im using a different host. How do I go about setting this up?

    Is there a tutorial somewhere?

    Many thanks hydrojohn :D

You go to your domain name, then tick on the domain name.

Then you click on DNS or nameserver. Change the nameserver of your hosting.

    All the best :)

As mentioned above, it is perfectly fine to purchase domain name from one registrar and host it with someone else (even from your home PC - if you have a webserver)

The only thing required for web hosting to work from other provider is setting the correct name servers. When you purchase web hosting account - you would be provided the setting for nameservers (typically 2 nameservers are defined, some give up to 5 or 6 name servers)

Change nameserver settings in Total DNS account of your GoDaddy domain manager, and you are set to host it with new provider.

    Thanks
