I have been on another website seeking help for this problem..and got a little help but i really need help for a bigger community.

I rarly get any clicks at all to my ads. I think the most i have ever made in 1 day is $1.33 and that was today. other then that i tend to get 0 clicks for a long period of time. But have around 1,000-3,000 impressions a day. If that is not enough what can i do to increase traffic on my site and perhaps get better click through. I have noticed that i get public service ads on my front page. There a way to remove them and replace them with something better?

    Thank you for your time.

Long awhile Adsense has left to be the great make money machine, except for a few ones with well-established traffic and tons of content.

You need to add more content and promote as crazy to increase your revenue, otherwise look for a better advertising solution.

to get rid of useless public ad services add to your google code this line

    google_color_text = "CCCCCC";

    Code (markup):
Where CCCCCC is the hexadecimal value of your preferred background. Other option is add an URL to display alternate URLs if you an sponsor providing this service or implement your own alternate advertising.

the above code and that of the alternate ads are available inside your Adsense control panel for further customisation.

my site is www.strathcl.com (mainly only the forums are visited)

it is about gaming..and LAN (local area network) parties. I know it is not the best topic... but i am currently uploading my new sub site to it. http://articles.strathcl.com the sub part index's are not uploaded but you can see anyway. Thank you for your time.

I dont like being new to these forums.. they restrict way to much.

I think Google is having a hard time to figure out what kind of ads to display on your website. You may want to change the title of your page to "Games" or "Computer Games" and put text in your site that clearly tells Google your page is about Gaming.
Google might NOT know what Strathcl is.

Yeah, I'm getting PSAs here. You can also try using section targeting where you are using obvious gaming text and setting the rest to ignore. That has worked for me in the past.

Also in the 'Latest News' column no links are working, getting back to the index page... also you opted for only 'images ads' mostly image ads wont give you much CTR better try text ads.. also put a rectangle ad block in the center top of the page blends with your site... that could help you get more CTR and earnings...

the reason i use image ads is because i get paid for them even if people do not click on them. I only make 1 penny a day. But oyu know what no one clicks on the ads. So it is the best that i can do. I recently started an article subdomain off the site as i have no money for a domain. Also my index screwed up so i dont have one. Anyways

here is the link - www.stratcl.com/articles i hope that i have postitioned everything properly. Thank you for your input. There are 68,000 pages.. so it takes some time to load the list :p

How did you get 68,000 articles? One of the worst things to do is add non-original content.

I have ads at the bottom of the forums. Take a quick look and you will see. when people post a thread or anything. its constantly shown to them.

articles where a test to see if they would help me gain traffic or make money with adsense. So far its helped.

Just opened a new domain without adsense but i need help as to where to put it. http://www.greatergaming.com.. Some tips would be appreciated.

This section is most frequently ignored. On this forum, for instance, I rarely scroll down below the "quick reply" form, and that's probably typical. If you want a better response, position your ads above the fold.

Forums are not great for click-throughs though, because people on them are there to talk, not buy.
