    Now I have a couple of sites running AdSense, and believe me I'm not making much money from them! I was wondering what would happen if you made a site ( or one of your existing sites) suddenly became massive and started generating loads of clicks. Would Google maybe temp ban you until the source of the clicks became apparent?

    I think Google's filters are quite good at working out what is fraudulent or legitimate clicks.
    If you can create a buzz to drive to your site a lot of traffic and loads of clicks, I think Google will be able to find out if it's legitimate or no.
    I don't think there is matter to worry about.

    And anyway, as you said it, if ban there is, it would be temporary.
