So as the title says! I came to Thailand around 2 years ago when my business was still making some money... Now that business died off and I am living on around 650 usd per month for the past year at least and thats barely enough to live, never mind invest in new ventures!

My last business I used my student loan to setup, this time i've nothing! I'd really quite like to pay a trip home at some point so here's my plan!

I have a paypal account and I need to start building up cash in it so I can pay for things online such as domain names...

I am going to state what skills I can do and I can give previous examples if requested. I will work pretty cheaply and if anybody needs any of this stuff doing please send me a message! I will keep a list of my progress here! From rags to riches... (I hope)

    My skills!

    Web Design
    logo design
    php
    css, html
    mysql
    database design
    creative marketing plan creation

video creation. I'm an expert in online encoding techniques for max quality and have an hd camera. I can make decent quality movies.
Search engine optimisation and seo plans for your sites
    Linkbuilding
    Poster/brochure/business card etc etc

    I'm very creative
I'm based in Thailand so can export or possibly take advantage of the beautiful area or produce?

I'm jack of all trades really so if you want to help me dig my way out of this hole and earn enough money so I can go back home please give me some suggestions!!

    Thanks

    Dave

Reminds me of a guy I read about in the affiliate marketing space that made $3m and totally blew it all on crap and almost went bankrupt.

Well i've never made that much! Was earning a great income for a number of years though and took it for granted... I might add I'm really pretty excellent at all the things I've mentioned above. If you want an example just ask and I will show. While i'm starting I am willing to do things extra cheap so take a chance and get a great deal :)

You don't have a website to display your portfolio & stuff? I'll buy you a domain to start you off, if you want :)

Start Freelancing if you are good is impossible not to make money
Ofcourse many people lack the simple skill of selling themselfs on a fair price

There are plenty of freelance sites outhere search see wich suits you and stay on 1 max 2 and bid bid and get projects ...

Thanks for the advise guys! Also really apreciate the offer of a free domain but I setup www.cultivatedkarma.com a while back but didnt get round to finishing it... I guess I should do really! It's a very small example of my web work and I will finish it soon! I think it's a common problem of not having enough time to work on your own projects when you're busy working on other peoples all the time. I only get cash in hand though here in Thailand and never much... So now want to start building up electronic funds so I can build up some real money!

This is a valuable experience, as you now know that you should save some money for the bitter times.

I read something about a UK guy who won the lottery and now he wasted all the money already...

Your designs are quite good I find the one you use for your own website a little hard on the eyes because of the light shade of purple over black. I suggest you go into the Buy/Sell forums and find other peoples posts and make offers on the ones you are qualified to do.
