I have 2 Trader Joe's within a couple miles of my house in Chicago. But I've never shopped there. I'm always hearing about the great food people buy there but I never remember what people say.... I've decided to hit Trader Joe's this weekend. Please tell me your favorite food buys! Thanks!
Honestly I can say it's pretty much the same things, except they seem to label everything "organic" and mark up the prices. None the less, its a great store to shop at. Go there yourself and just pick what you like.
Naw man, TJ's is the bomb. Some stuff is marked-up, but a lot is wicked cheap, especially for it's quality, especially when compared with Whole Foods, which IS mad expensive. Can't go wrong with their 3 buck chuck wine. I dig their tomato soup, ground beef is high quality and cheap, hummus is tasty, bananas are always cheap and decent.
oh yes. I've heard about the 3 buck chuck! It's on the list! Anything else? I'm especially looking for things that can be easily made for dinner.
