I've just made a new facebook page and currently have 19 likes. I dont want to pay for advertising but want it to take of virally and spread like a facebook explosion but how do I do that? I need more likes so more will see it and like it. So far I have just been commenting on pages but some don't allow comments and there are already so many that people might not see mine. Another thing I was doing which I thought was genius but didnt really work was liking peoples comments. It will show up on their page that I liked it then they check out my page but it hasnt been working too well. Any suggestions? Ive asked my friends.
Another thing you can try is to find an Interest page in your niche. For example, we liked several Interest pages in our niche - Ballroom Dancing, Ballroom Dance. By providing good content, your posts can show up on these interest pages. The Ballroom Dancing Interest page has over 85,000 fans and some of our posts show up on that Interest page
Their are loads of ways of getting fans to your page: 1/ You can submit your page to a Facebook page directory called likethisfanpage.com 2/ Include your Facebook page url in your web social profiles e.g. Youtube, Twitter, Linkedin etc. and also include in your email signature 3/ Also try and use facebook badge or “like†button everywhere your brand/business is present on the web: website, Blog posts etc. 4/ Use Facebook applications that quickly increase the engagement and reach of their facebook pages. - appbistro.com 5/ You could also invite your friends or your social profile contacts e.g Linkedin.com to the page. 6/ Create a custom landing page, by creating a custom landing tab for your facebook page you can increase the conversion of visitors to fans. 7/ Run fans only contests using wildfireapp or northsocial.
I got my fanpage from 50 to 800 in a month by running a contest. Whoever invited the most friends that liked a picture using my product they would get $50. It was worth it because the fans were super targeted and now I have more fans
Facebook at the moment are running a boot camp. If you search facebook for their own marketing you should find it as a noob I can not post links in case I am a canned piece of meat...to which I am not...my nan made disgusting sandwiches with that stuff... I noted that you did not want to pay for advertising at this time but if you "like" facebooks very own boot camp they give you a $25 coupon for advertising your page and if you get a 100 new fans by using that then they will send you another coupon...
