I've just signed up and my site won't validate

    Hi,

I just signed up for the co-op advertising network, and although the ads are working on all my pages, it won't validate, because it wants me to put ads on pages that no longer exist!

A few weeks ago I re-did my site, making all my html pages php instead, and then I got rid of the html pages. Many of the php pages have been indexed by Google, but some of the html pages are still indexed (although they don't exist anymore) and I wondered if that could be the problem!

However, if you were to go through my site (over 500 pages) you'd find that there are ads on each page of the site.

    Any advice?
    Cheers

    Thanks, I'll try that!

I know some people have used .htaccess files to do it...but the whole reason that I changed from html to php was that I just can't get .htaccess to work on my server (although I can with other hosting accounts).

The good news is that Google seems to be gradually replacing the html pages with php pages rather than keeping them both indexed...

    Cheers
