I've just launched a new tool - do you think it has Clickbank potential?

I've just launched http://ReverseInternet.com that allows you to do reverse IP/DNS/Analytics/AdSense lookups. You can find a more detailed description in this thread.

For the time being I've decided to keep this service free of charge. However I also consider making it a ClickBank product (possibly subscription based). Do you believe something like that would sell on ClickBank? Would you buy something like that (even if through your own hoplink) and how much would you be willing to pay for such product.

I'm also interested in general feedback on what you like/don't like/think can be implemented better.

adsspy.com charges for something similar, not sure I would pay for it to be honest.

Seems like a neat tool, but I also don't think I'd pay for it. But that's just me. Your best bet, in my opinion, would be to do some keyword/market research and see if there's any traffic/demand for this type of thing and then go from there.

While adsspy has a similar service, we have much more data than they do.

The thing is that most people don't even consider using google Ids to link websites together. Some have heard about reverse IP lookup but that's pretty much it.

But it can sell once people realize how useful it can be.

Are there any affiliates with long mail-lists who would be willing to do a promotional email?

It's definitely a cool tool with some interesting data in it, but I don't think I'd pay until it's more complete. 75m domains is a lot, but a drop in the ocean really. Also you've got to think: what are the target uses? To track down other sites that a person owns, seems to me pretty much the only use. And that's only possible if they use Adsense or Analytics. Maybe if you tie WHOIS data in there too (most are anonymous I know), and other forms of tracking/ads it would be more complete.

If you want to go on clickbank and sell your service I recommend you to remove the ads that are currently on your site. Good luck

Why Clickbank for your subscription? You have a lot of options - even paypal. If you keep your fees low it's pretty much free.

    TigerPublishing,
How many domains do think there are on the internet?
There are under 120,000,000 domains across com/net/org/info/biz/us TLDs and a significant portion of these doesn't resolve at all. Then there is unspecified number of ccTLD domains. Although it's hard to tell exactly how many there are, our tool has many of those as well.

    johnjohn24,
For IP and DNS there are free tools but as far as Google Analytics and Adsense IDs go, the only one I'm aware of is adsspy.com

    walterk,
I'm considering clickbank because I want to tap into pool of existing affiliates.

Fair enough. I've found a few sources that range from 110m to 118m but you're right, there aren't as many as I thought. 75m is pretty good! :)
