I've been reading a lot but practically coming to know about things when I've started my first Blog which is a versatile News website as in my Signature. I don't really know a lot of things to keep the websites running smooth . I've come to know about some things which I had to pass through them. Like I came to know about Duplicate content issues and a lot of other things in Google's webmaster tools. The crawl errors show you much. Hidden text is what you can also be penalized for. Also, stuffs about Robots.txt files, noindex tags and shit . Some simple stuff it is. So I just wanted to know more, since my Website currently is penalized I think ( not sure but I think its either due to Downtime or Duplicate issue ) . I've fixed the downtime and learned a lot upon how to be safe from duplicate content . But before I submit a re-consideration request to Google, I just want to be sure if there is anything I would be penalized for ? ( after I've submitted my application ) . So please give me links to some basic and Good topics to be safe from any kind of such issues. I really appreciate the view about how people post and think about them. So I would like to know tips about Optimization and keeping your website up in Google's results.
Kind of a really broad question.....it would take someone alot of time to examine your site! You do not really have any direction...that is you blog is just that...a Blog about everything. It looks great though! I suggest optimizing the pages inlcuding the Page Title and URLs
Yes I am doing that a lot now. The 5th day I opened the blog I had 2500 visitors that day but since Google penalized my site that number has fallen down to 500 which is just due to the backlinks I have now. So when my site comes back to search results I am gonna focus that. Actually my site comes to search results but when we simply type " mixupdate " it is seen at the 7th spot and just only one index page. About 6 days back, I could see my result of "mixupdate" on No.1 spot including other pages but not now . However, If "mixupdate.com" is typed it comes 1st including rest of the pages with "see all" button. But for example, if a specific unique post from my blog is searched like the title in Google, it never comes on the list even if I write mixupdate after the search query. This is just what I don't understand. If my site is penalized, either it should disappear completely and if not, it should appear completely. I just don't get this issue.
