    Hello Moderator/Admin

I've got an infraction and my thread was deleted later for this reason:
The link in my thread was not masked or affiliate link. And you do allow affiliate links in signatures so you're not so strict about it...

The link in my thread was to a page that contained e-books downloads. Those e-books were hosted on ShareCash. On Sunday, December 20, some members replied to my thread saying that they cannot download from ShareCash. So on Sunday night I uploaded my ebooks to DepositFiles. On my page it clearly stated where my ebooks were hosted, I was not deceiving anyone. This is the page I'm referring to: cheapcomputery.com/ebooks.htm

I've got an infraction on Monday at 4:30pm and my post was deleted after that. I don't understand: linking to a site that has affiliate links is not allowed? But having affiliate link in signature is allowed?

So next time I make a thread about sharing ebooks, I should put a link in the signature (even though it's not really an affiliate link)?????????

You shouldn't make a thread about it, or you will get another. You should contact a moderator if you feel it was unjustified.

ShareCash is an affiliate link. You earn money from that website.

You also cannot direct users to your signature.

If you see something like that then just use 'Report Post' button for that.

Well, the link from my thread was not to ShareCash... We all have links to websites where we earn money from adsense, affiliate links or other way.... and affiliate links are not banned, they are allowed in signature....

I saw a lot of people doing it... "selling a website, link in my signature" or "download an ebook, link in my signature"

You directed users to your website, which then directed them to an affiliate link (Sharecash).

It's still an affiliate link :)

What about a landing page containing link to another page and that page has an affiliate link?

There are a lot of links like it here, for example in "review my website" category people are allowed to post links to their sites for review and those sites might as well contain affiliate links....

And again, if affiliate links are allowed in signature, why it's not ok to have them on landing page? And signature links might be deceiving, I can write "join a dating site" and put match.com affiliate link....

If you checked my page, you'll see that it does not deceive anyone and clearly states from where people would be downloading ebooks. If they don't like it, they can leave. I'm not asking for money nor forcing anyone to download anything.

I guess putting a link "Download SEO Ebooks for FREE" in my signature would be ok..... and probably better for me as it will get more exposure because I have over 200 posts and threads....

You can have as many affiliate links in your signature that you want. You can have a page just full of them.

Point is you are not allowed to direct people to click on your links in your signature. If they want to click on your links then they will.

You posted another thread? What don't you understand? Don't promote your sharelink downloads. We are not stupid here and know that everytime someone downloads one of your ebooks, that you probably dont have the rights to give away in the first place, you get paid. The other deposit website is the same way.

That is an affiliate link and was clearly explain yet you posted another thread.

You are posting threads with the sole purpose of getting people to download the books and you make money. Stop it.
