I've got a question..

    I have 2 internet connections.
    one is 2 MBPS(ADSL) in speed and other is 300 KBPS(Broadband)..
    the ADSL one is not too stable and suffers continuous disconnection every half an hour or so..

    Now I want to set my server this way that it should use ADSL as primary connection and when the ADSL connection goes down it should switch to 300KBPS connection automatically but when ADSL is back it should switch back..

    Is there any software way to do it (without router or multiplexer).. I have a 8 port n-way switch...

    If you connect both the connections via LAN to your computer and configure them to keep running all the time, i'm not sure if it would you 2mbps or 300kbps when both are available but i'm pretty sure it'll switch to 300kbps one the 2mbps connection goes down.
