Hello! I've found somewhere on the internet a way to have PR 10 site and I wonder if it is really working. All is about a 301 redirect to google.com with htaccess. I've read that after next PR update the URL will have the same PR as the destination site. If you want examples etc. look at my techblog. Do you think it will work?
Ofcourse it works, but if your exploiting wht 301 i really using for and can potentially be banned... Is that blog post really yours because you ask the question do you think it will work, yet talk in certainty on your blog. Well regardless its old news.
I redirected a domain to a site once for a while and it got a pr of 5 doing it, I though it was a mistake as the domain also had indexed with the other sites title in the search engines, after I placed it back all was changed after it got re indexed.
The only point I can see to it would be if you are trying to screw someone by selling them a site that has fake PR. It seems to much of a risk of being banned to be worth it. Here is a really crazy idea! Earn your own PR!
This is old news man... lots of people use it though to sell links, that why you always need to make sure that the PR is real when buying links.
Much Better if you achieve a real PR than fake. Because today it can easily detect a fake PR.By using this tool http://www.reladvance.com/metrix/find_metrics_form.php.
