Disaster ! I have that little site were I have about 100 UV a day , nothing big , so I've decided to change my meta and on the very next day my UV dropped down to 30 visits a day . What I did was : , I basically add only few more words to what I had .
Wow that was such of dramatic decrease ...

P.S Do you guys think that eventually I will gain them back ?

I would be happy to take a look at your website and evaluate it for important factors of internal search engine optimization. (including your meta tags)

If you would like my opinion, please feel free to reply with your domain name.

    Kind Regards,

There won't be that much drastic change if you add more meta keywords, check out where you are previously ranking for that keyword and after adding extra keywords. If you found there is some decrease in rankings then it won't be any problem you can get the same position by little work but if your traffic is from out of search engines then you have to look into that section(means traffic from other sources)..anyway it would be better if you give some more information about your site to give more suggestions.

one very important and effective meta tag trick if your titles are highly relavant to the content of your site.

Try to put title of your page as a description in Description meta tag. This will bring you lot of traffic from Google.

Are you sure it's because you changed the META tag? One day is not really statistically significant, in terms of measuring traffic.
