my weight is 9K if i hit the cap the cap must be very low pages in google Results 1 - 10 of about 544 from supportcave.com PR 3..
What good is this forum if (administrators do not respond to weight questions). I feel this is legitimate Ive waited over a month and the google cache shows 5 ads and ill still only getting weight for 3 ads
The 1969 thing is usually an indication that pages are being dropped to the suplemental index (and won't appear in your total pages returned from the API - which is used to calculate weight). The API currently shows 390 pages for your site. A weight of 9,000 is about right for that amount (I have about 10,000 with 40 pages and a PR of 4 showing 5 ads). If it was the same with 3 ads, it could be that while you added 2 ads, you also lost pages in the index, resulting in your weight staying the same.
A better Subject would have attracted more 'senior' staff to your thread. The site: command returns a lot of url only results. But that doesn't explain the lack of increase when switching to 5 ads. Have you updated the code recently?
How did u check this?? i only know this command site:supportcave.com in google, yahoo & msn to see how many pages index'd
Ya im not the best writer And my site code im updating all the time, if that the "code" your were refering to as im playing with new menu's and a new professional css/php look
You have to have a Google API key (free from Google) and then write a script to check the pages. This is how the network checks total pages. A less reliable way is to do a site: search on google.com, and then go to the end of the results until you see: "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 341 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included." That number is usually very close to what the API returns. Also, if you don't want to page through 33 or more pages to find it, you can do this...when you go to the second page of search results, the URL will look something like this: http: //www.google.com/search?q=site:supportcave.com&hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&safe=off&rls=GGLB,GGLB:1969-53,GGLB:en&start=10&sa=N change the 'start=10' to 'start=999' and you should get the same 'relevant results' message.
I meant the Ad Network code, the files yuo installed initially. If you never updated them then that might be it.
ty do u have an example of a script to do this? and that link shows Results 11 - 20 of about 576 from supportcave.com
I updated the Ad Network code , last week maybe when shawn relased an minor update to it, didnt notice any difference
In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 335 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included. So google thing the rest are copies with similar content? All my pages are different , with different content
