I bought a MySpace account through myspacetrader.com and i paid $300 for it. He provided proof that he had it and even sent me a message from it! Though once i paid he sent me and email saying "you've just been pwned!". Luckily i paid through paypal using my credit card so i did a chargeback and got all the funds back. Though i don't want this to happen to other people. I want to take legal action, is this possible? I want to see this guy in court! Bloody scammers!
For 300 bucks and you want to take legal recourse? Your legal fees may be more than that. BTW, opening multiple threads on the same subject is not cool... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=480601
I wouldnt bother with legal action mate because it wont hold up in court considering you got your money back. also the $300 that you got back will be instantly blown with legal costs, so put it down to experiance and be a bit more careful in the future. Do a bit of research before doing deals. check they have good itrader points, see how many posts they have on here, ask if they have an ebay account, if they do ask to see their feedback history on there. at least you got your money back which is the main thing, but i know its not nice being scammed too.
