Hey, I recently sold my domain and service to a guy who was on DP but he was banned for $90 since then he gave me $55 by paypal then paypal made a dispute so he then go his friend to send me $90 which I received but now she (the buyer) made the dispute, what should I do? I have contacted them both but I need more clearer ideas on what to do, I have also contacted paypal and soon I will be contacting NameCheap but I have also been scammed a large amount which I am really pissed off about, considering I have spent around 20 hours on it.... I will be more than grateful for your suggestions. Thanks nut legend
He received the money. He can't do a chargeback. When a dispute was opened by the buyer for the first $55 you should have smelt a rat.
I recently received this email from the 2nd person: I do not who you are and why you are trying to fleece money from me. Either you running a scam or someone has hacked into my account and tried to send you money from mine. Whos is this friend yiou are talking about? If you have the details and are honest you can file a complaint with paypal. Next time the buyer is on msn well, there will be trouble.... nut legend
If they raised a dispute and you used 'Service' for payment then you might win the dispute. But, if they did a chrageback on you then I don't think you can do much about it. Be a little bit more carefull next time, and it'll be better if you can share the username who scammed you.
His username is: albinoo But he is banned, annoyingly they did it as goods not services If by the end of saturday it hasn't been resolved I will contact namecheap immediately.... nut legend
Your best bet is do a Godaddy Chargeback. Contact godaddy, Paypal won't give a crap about you, they just look for the easiest way out which is to just leave it as is. I know how it feels I been scammed $100 before and also scammed in vB transfer twice.
Nah, im with namecheap, I hope they do the same.... I am starting to get really annoyed with him though but he is stupid, I know the password to the cpanel login, and for his login for the ipb license... If he doesn't pay me well, should I change the passes? nut legend
You seemed more indignant than than victim. I guess it won't look nice with 4 letter words on a public forum. Anyway while I feel sadden by the scam, it is a private transaction best solved by the parties themselves. Thread Closed
