yep, it's sad. There is good and bad people everywhere. It's about to learn to respect other cutures and ways of thinking. I would maybe be gald if he insulted "that muslim" or "every muslim with similar behavior", but there are nice muslims going aorund that may even hate that hacker as much as you do.

Next time you talk to him on msn do a 'netstat -b' in cmd and you should get his ip, hack him back if no legal action can take place.

As of today OptikPoint gets flooded with core files in the root directory and given a 500 Internal Server Error and no access due to disk quota exceeding.

www.optikpoint.com - Not sure what is going on, but I am switching hosts in 24 hours

 

I asked one of my hosts on the support forum ,about this particular porblem and here are the replies:

 

Theres some good guys of course, that simply hack for more just causes than this (taking down racist websites for example)

I doubt he's that friggin invincible...just be sure to keep your software updated (especially forums, theres sites that simply post known exploits for others to simply get into)

And ffs if he could get into the whitehouse network/whatever then he'd be magic...but he can't, or if he was really doing this because American's etc were killing his people, he would've done it already.

 

We had a rackspace server where I used to work, and it got compromised on root level - although rackspace were brilliant helping us back on our feet - and they were the ones that told us it had been compromised

 

WOW, rackspace, compromised....Well it does happen.In case of hacking, the best thing is just to reinstall the server.Best hackers leave open doors, trojans, patched code and much much more.My advice, swtich the host.

Apparently the core files that we were recieving were from a line {include footer.tpl} in which and was implimented by accident from a dev of ours.

Now that we know it was not from a hacker, and because of the flaws we have seen so far from apparent sites that have been hacked "Which were other directories we know" we have decided to get hooked up with ControlScan.com as a reseller and also a few other Security Hack Protection Groups to ensure this does not happen again, and to better serve the viewers and buyers at OptikPoint.com
