OK this whole time i have been building links for my sub-domains yet like this: http://www.subdomain.domain.com should it be like this?? http://subdomain.domain.com because now my predicted PageRank for the www. version is high but for the non www. its nothing lol is this bad? I heard with sub-domains you shouldn't be using www.subdomain.etc.etc
Because typing in www is a thing of the past? I don't know... I think it should be the same for both ~_~ damned internet.
I don't think it matters pr only helps your ranks in search engines and stuff right? So it will show your www.asldkjf;alk.com instead of as;lkjdf;as.com which really makes no difference.
Whichever variation you choose, stick with it. It doesn't matter to search engines, as far as I know, whether you use the www or skip it. The problem comes when you have incoming links or even within your website's internal linking structure where the www and non-www url's are mixed. At least in terms of Google, you're splitting your pagerank because: http://domain.com Does not equal http://www.domain.com You can use your htaccess file to force the www or non www, and maybe that'd be a way for you to keep it under control.
Does anyone know if one is better than the other or what they advertise would you go for the http://websi.com or http://www.websi.com
not just subdomain yoursite.com www.yoursite.com are identified as two different URLs backlinks/PR for both will be different. i always do link exchanges with www.mysite.com .Its the perf way.
well on my subdomains I will continue to do them with www. i guess i have no choice already and make a 301 redirect for it..
