Check it out: http://digg.com/ and vote if you like. I would not mind I am curious to see how this will result on my traffic.
Looks like you copied my idea: http://digg.com/links/Fun_with_Hotlinkers I wish you good luck with it
LOL Yes, I saw your article...but I had mine written already. The idea is the same, which goes to show there's nothing new under the sun Cheers!
Yep. Thats true. I have gotten some feedback from one of the people I zapped and ridiculed in the form of two comments written under two different usernames. This guy is making a complete idiot of himself. I will take great pleasure in taking care of him in my next issue Anyways, good technical information in your article.
How have you successfully gotten visitors to Digg your site? Do you integrate digg links into your articles?
IMO this can be true in the long run. If your site gets lots of backlinks from blogs and websites because you got 'digg' several times, it will help in PR / Rankings due to the bak links. However, the immediate effect is a surge in traffic.
Hi, I gave you a digg. How about me... http://digg.com/science/Road_Rage_Site_Forecasting_Daily_Road_Rage
The site didnt last long Throw up a html page in it's place to make it load better. Well... anything is better then it is now.
Mine was older. I got about 8k users within about 90 minutes until the article was gone from the frontpage of digg. I haven't submitted it myself. Since mine was submitted by someone with quite some reputation on digg it did fairly well (at least thats what I think the cause is). Otherwise the traffic was over fast but the spike was enormous. Since I don't advertise I can't say how it would have converted either. My hosting account had no problem with the traffic, but I will modify my cache script since I am planning to up the scores on the next installment. The new version will include the blog. Due to my article I have made some new enemies though .
