I'm pretty excited to try out azoogle for a while. I'm hoping to do well and keep it. Any suggestions or tips? Do most of you create some landing page like yoursite.com/somead Do you guys just put a small banner somewhere on your page like a normal ad like adsense or something? I guess I'm not sure what to do yet.
all your questions have been answered in this forum already. most do landing pages. try banners (text usually works best) try and tweak try and tweak and dont give up.
Start with banners/text combination and your own landing pages. As you start to build up, I suggest getting a good designer to develop custom landing pages for you. I've seen my CTR improve quite a bit by doing that. Right now I'm at about 55-60% CTR from my landing pages to the offer, curious what type of CTR rates everyone else is getting?
Once you hit around 800 or so per lead... ask for an increase in payout usually 90% of the time they will give it up. For quick launch use an IFRAME, for a more creative take, build out landing pages with some original content and guide them to convert) Good luck! Ben
Congrats! Welcome to the club. If I could give advice to anyone new to the CPA game or Internet Marketing in general. It would be to TEST. If you have a feeling something wont work... Test it! Be sure to keep analytics also.
I"m REAL nervous about making a page just for my azoogle and spending cash and hoping to make cash with adwords. Right now i've just put up a few banners on my sites. I'm prob. not going to make a lot of money that way though.
It'll take me a while to learn the little things to do this. I know with adsense it was a learning process and i'm still not good at it, lol.
I just got accepted, too. I've heard a lot about AzoogleAds; it's time to see what all the fuss is about.
I got accepted about two months ago, and I started out by putting banner ads on my website. I only got a single conversion after about 200 clicks for $1.35, so I decided Azoogle wasn't the best way to go for my niche. I just recently started the whole adwords/yahoo/adcenter affiliate marketing technique, and so far on my first "real" day (after all my failed tests :-P) I've made $57 on 21 clicks @ 10 cents each. It's proving to be quite effective, but make sure that your landing pages are perfect. At first, I was getting about 30% of the people to actually go from the landing page to the ad, and then after I made it look more professional, gave it its own related .com url, and added similar product comparisons in a table, my ctr from landing page to ad is around 85%. It really does make a difference. I tested many different affiliate offers at azoogle before I found one that worked well for me. It really is true that you should test different things out, because some people will just be better at promoting certain offers than others.
